World Champions.
Of the AFC West, that is. First and foremost, congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs for executing the greatest single-season turnaround in franchise history. The last three seasons, in sequential order: 4-12, 2-14, 4-12. This season, ten wins with one week left, a division championship, and an all-but-certain Coach of the Year nod for Todd Haley. It is a good day in Kansas City. Strong December showing as always, San Diego, but it wasn’t quite enough this year. Let’s take a quick gander at how it all went down:

Now, I won’t speculate too much on iPad rumors, but it’s worth mentioning that there’s a general consensus confirming newer, flatter backplates, larger/better speakers, and possibly more LCD space without increasing the size of the device. All good things. Apple certainly has the predominant market position when it comes to touch-screen tablets, but there have been a few challengers this holiday season, such as the Samsung Galaxy and a variety of Sony eReaders/tablet devices. As we get into 2011, let’s see how the competition goes.
