Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues with the iPad and iPhone

iPhone / iPad

You can’t do much with your iPad or iPhone if you can’t get it to connect to the Internet. Almost everything that you do nowadays grabs information from the Internet. When it doesn’t work, you may feel like it’s broken forever. That’s not the case.

When your iPhone or iPad does not connect to the Internet, there are a few things that could be going wrong.

  1. Your Wi-Fi may not be working.
  2. The settings are wrong on your iPhone or iPad.
  3. There’s something internally wrong with the device.

These are the steps you should take when trying to troubleshoot the problem with your device. Check your Wi-Fi connection first. You may want to try to connect in another way – for example, see if your computer will connect to it. If that works fine, you should check the settings next.

Go into settings and then check if everything is correct with the password. Try to disconnect from the network and reconnect. That can solve Wi-Fi problems sometimes. You may also want to turn your phone off and on again to see if that will fix it.

If none of those work, you can try to reset your device. Be sure to back up your device or you’ll end up losing all of your data. That can be devastating if you use your devices a lot for work and personal scheduling and information. Once you back up it up, reset it to factory settings. You will then be able to set up the iPhone or iPad as if it’s a new device.

If the Wi-Fi still doesn’t work after you set up the connection again after the reset, it’s time to call iResQ. We have free diagnostics. Our certified technicians will find out what’s wrong with the Wi-Fi and then call you with the problem. You can then decide if you want to have us repair it or send it back to you unrepaired.
