Alec Baldwin walks onto an airplane…
I know — too easy. Most of you have probably heard about the American Airlines conflict yesterday when Alec Baldwin was kicked off a plane because he refused to turn his iPad off. If you haven’t seen the news yet, check it out here: Alec Baldwin latest celebrity to clash with airline
None of the articles I have read have confirmed what we all want to know: Did he have an iPad or iPad 2? Black or white? I know he was playing “Words with Friends” and tweeting, but that’s not enough info. We need details. I don’t know if Mr. Baldwin has dropped his iPad, but we’re ready to take care of him if he needs it.
That’s the only confirmed news I have for you today in the Apple world, and you didn’t come here for celebrity news or gossip so that will be the end of it.

Baldwin
Some random Thursday thoughts:
- The rumor mills are reporting that Apple is soon to release a line of televisions. I can’t wait to see how Apple changes that market next.
- Albert Pujols signed by the Angels. ![]()
- My college basketball team is in the top 10. ![]()
- The snow has started falling in KC, be careful out there!
Time to get back to work, thanks for reading!

Well, the Holiday season is now in full swing and with that comes a new addition to the iResQ Blog Team. You can get to know more about me on our Meet the Staff page!
This Thanksgiving was for the most part the same with the traditions of my family – The turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, ham, my grandmothers dressing to name a few and we will not even start to talk about the pies. 17 of us gathered around several tables at my parents house! We ate, we slept, we played games. Early Friday morning, we had our black Friday shoppers (not me) go out, then every Friday after Thanksgiving us guys always play a round of golf and could not have asked for a better day in Kansas!
Over the several days we were together we still played our card and Domino games, however one thing was drastically different this year and we have some intense games going on our iPod Touch’s, iPhones and iPad’s – the main one being “Word’s with Friends”, which is an App that some of the guys here at iResQ got me hooked on. There was a point on Friday evening while sitting in my parents living room, college football on in the back ground, there were at least 7 people zoned completely on their Apple device, sort of holding conversations trying hard to get a few more words in before we went to grab some dinner. One of my Uncles, sitting there thinking through the situation blurts out, “Look at us!… Just look at us!” Oh, how Apple products are taking over everything that we do. The way we play games, the way we order food, the way we communicate.
Now that we are heading right into the end of the year and we are getting tons of calls and emails with people that are trying to hurry to get their products repaired before Christmas gets here. We are getting many calls on broken screens – whether it be the iPhone4 Broken Glass, a MacBook LCD screen replacement or maybe you want to finally get your Apple Device Fixed and have no idea what is wrong. We can take a look at it for you! Make your repair order on our website or give us a call and let myself or another sales representative help you!
Happy Holidays!

Wow, finally some iPad news! Here are the details from Engadget, complete with pricing: iPad Launches on April 3, Preorders Begin March 12.
There’s nothing like some exciting Apple news to start off a Friday morning. Since I’m not a coffee drinker, it really gives me that kick that I need. Our company breakfast today didn’t hurt either. Yum.
So here’s an excerpt taken from the Engadget article for those of you too scared to click the link:
“The iPad will be launching on Saturday April 3rd (and on the shelves, er… display tables at Apple retail stores), but you’ll be able to plunk down cold, hard cash for it in just a week. Pre-orders will begin on March 12th for the US version (non-3G) for that April street date, with the 3G version coming in late April”
Great stuff! You can be sure that we’ll have our hands on these babies as soon as they are available. Of course, we’ll also be repairing the iPads in case you haven’t seen the links all over our website.
Speaking of great stuff, did you know that this week marked the birthday of Alexander Graham Bell? Yep, that’s right — the man who is credited for inventing the telephone. He would have been 163 on March 3rd. I wonder what he would think about the iPhone 3GS? I wonder if he’d play “Words with Friends” against me?

Have a great weekend all, and get your pocketbooks ready to buy an iPad.
