There aren’t too many people in the world today who aren’t the proud owners of some sort of smartphone. With the technology advanced society that we live in today, owning a smartphone has become a basic need for everyone. The truth is that regardless of what kind of smartphone you own, after a period of time something always goes wrong with it. Whether it be the infamous cracked screen or some critical function just crashed, whatever the case, you are going to need help with repairs and quick because nobody really likes to go a minute without having access to their phone.
So now comes the time where you have to make a decision as to who you will use to repair your phone and you are seriously considering the mobile repair business as opposed to a standard repair shop, and for good reason. The mobile repair service saves you time and money because it accommodates by coming to where ever you are, which in turn, saves you the time of traveling to a standard repair shop and saves you some gas money, as well.
Another benefit of using a mobile repair business is that you basically cut the costs of repairs in half when you use this service. The manufacturer and mobile carrier’s repair services have always been known to be higher than something like a kiosk or the mobile repairs because it’s their products and the original replacements of phone parts cost more than aftermarket parts. Therefore, it would make sense for the manufacturers and mobile carriers to charge more for their repair services.
When dealing with standard repair businesses you may have to endure the daunting experience of calling to schedule an appointment to be seen and you could be on hold for quit sometime because a lot of people use the standard repair business. This also means that it could be awhile before they can fit you in their schedule to repair your phone. This is usually not the case when you deal with the mobile repair service, they allow you the convenience of scheduling a service date and time online and around your schedule.
That type of service would be considered superb because the customer is everything to a business and the idea of giving them control of the whole customer experience is a genius concept that won’t ever fail and helps to both gain and retain customers.

At the one-year anniversary of having your smartphone, you may notice that it doesn’t quite work or look like what it did when you first bought it. This may make you think it’s time to purchase a new one, but we like to save people money. Instead of wasting your money on buying the newest smartphone, read these ways to make yours last.
Some people get anxious when they hit 50% battery life on their phone. They fear it will cut out on them at the worst time possible. To subside their anxiety, they plug it in for a full charge. This is the worst thing you can do because your phone’s battery decreases in longevity each time you charge it.
The best thing to do is to allow your phone to completely die. If that’s just too stressful, plug it in when it hits at least 5%. Go as low as you can go, though.
It also matters how long you charge it. Unplug your phone as soon as it hits 100%. You don’t have to keep checking it, but do check it after an hour to see how close it is and then again depending on how long more you think it will take to hit a full charge.
If you’ve already messed up your battery life, you can always get a battery replacement to start fresh. iResQ offers battery replacement for most smartphones on the market today. Check out our smartphone repair page for more information.
We know it’s obvious and not something you really want to do, but it really does make your smartphone last longer. Dropping your phone is bound to happen, and the damage doesn’t only make your phone look bad, but it could break it.
If you’ve already dropped your phone and it’s broken, you don’t have to buy a new one. You can have us fix it for you. We repair screens and can fix whatever may be wrong with it, such as a broken camera, microphone, or Wi-Fi.
Some people never update their phone because they hate the changes that come along with it, but the problem is that those updates are released because of changes that happen with the network and the way the phone works. Update your phone as often as it needs to be, so you don’t end up hating the fact that it’s slow, apps freeze, shut down, etc.
What we mean by cleaning it out is deleting apps you no longer use and taking the hundreds of pictures that you have saved on it. This will improve how fast it operates and it will allow you to use it freely without becoming aggravated when you can’t record a video or install a new app because of limited space.
We have many other tips for making your smartphone last longer. Be sure to check back often to learn more about how you can keep your phone running efficiently and looking as good as new.

Many people will wait weeks or even months before they decide to repair their device. This goes for iPads, tablets, smartphones, and iPhones. While the reasoning makes sense, the device still works when there’s a function that working or there’s a crack on it, but the risk is not worth it.
When you continue to use your device after it’s not working right, you risk something else not working because of that. Most of the functions in a device work together to enable you to do what you need to do. When one doesn’t work, another function may have to work harder or ineffectively.
For example, when you have water damage. Your speaker may go out, but what you don’t see is that the water has hit other mechanisms. At first, everything works fine, but after a while, you find that your Home button may not work, and then the touchscreen. As you can see, the problem just exacerbates.
The same thing happens with cracked screens. At first, a simple cracked screen may only mean a simple digitizer replacement, but after a while and more damage to the device, the LCD needs to be replaced.
What this all boils down to is that the longer you wait, the more damage occurs, and then the more money you have to pay to get it fixed. Instead of causing your device more damage and having to pay more for a repair, just get it fixed when it has one problem. It may seem inconvenient, but you’ll be glad you did.
Call us or find the repair you need here. We have a fast turnaround time, use quality parts, and have affordable prices. We’ll help you get the repairs you need, so you can protect your device from any further damage.
