Well, the Holiday season is now in full swing and with that comes a new addition to the iResQ Blog Team. You can get to know more about me on our Meet the Staff page!
This Thanksgiving was for the most part the same with the traditions of my family – The turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, ham, my grandmothers dressing to name a few and we will not even start to talk about the pies. 17 of us gathered around several tables at my parents house! We ate, we slept, we played games. Early Friday morning, we had our black Friday shoppers (not me) go out, then every Friday after Thanksgiving us guys always play a round of golf and could not have asked for a better day in Kansas!
Over the several days we were together we still played our card and Domino games, however one thing was drastically different this year and we have some intense games going on our iPod Touch’s, iPhones and iPad’s – the main one being “Word’s with Friends”, which is an App that some of the guys here at iResQ got me hooked on. There was a point on Friday evening while sitting in my parents living room, college football on in the back ground, there were at least 7 people zoned completely on their Apple device, sort of holding conversations trying hard to get a few more words in before we went to grab some dinner. One of my Uncles, sitting there thinking through the situation blurts out, “Look at us!… Just look at us!” Oh, how Apple products are taking over everything that we do. The way we play games, the way we order food, the way we communicate.
Now that we are heading right into the end of the year and we are getting tons of calls and emails with people that are trying to hurry to get their products repaired before Christmas gets here. We are getting many calls on broken screens – whether it be the iPhone4 Broken Glass, a MacBook LCD screen replacement or maybe you want to finally get your Apple Device Fixed and have no idea what is wrong. We can take a look at it for you! Make your repair order on our website or give us a call and let myself or another sales representative help you!

Hey all — Happy Friday!
I wanted to take this opportunity to talk for a sec about what we’ve been up to and to show off a nice YouTube video review.
As always, there’s a lot going on out here in our little corner of Kansas City.
I was on vacation most of last week (13th-16th) but returned just in time to see a new record broken at iResQ. Believe it or not, we received more product this week than we have so far in all of 2010. That’s quite the statement, considering we historically see a little bit of a volume drop in the dog days of Summer. Not this year! Congrats to us, and thanks to all the great customers who have sent in their products for repair. We are always here for you!
Since that’s settled… on to the next item. We found out that one of our customers made a YouTube video about their experience and wanted to share it with our avid blog readers or the first-time visitor who is considering trying us out.
The customer ordered our Matte MacBook LCD Screen Repair/Replacement and was happy with his service. He also explains that Apple did not manufacture this model of MacBook with a matte screen. He talks a little about his his experience with iResQ, so if you’re on the fence and trying to decide whether to send your precious Apple product in, you can take comfort in his words.
See the video below. Thanks to our customer, uxwbill, for putting this together. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

How do, friends? Does it feel like summers are getting shorter and shorter every year to anyone else? July is waning and it’s been cool and stormy here in Kansas City- not the sweltering summer we’ve generally grown accustomed to. But that doesn’t mean we can’t give you a smoking hot deal on iPod, iPhone, MacBook and MacBook Pro repairs (Sorry, that was awful. Seriously, that kind of word play goes against everything decent within me. Like when local newspapers publish an article about dogs and force “doggone” into the title somehow. Yuck.). Speaking of doggone deals (dang it, I can’t stop), everyone’s favorite sales manager Mick took me up on the deal I’ve been plugging for the last two weeks and adopted himself a puppy. German Shepherd. Ask him about it. Good for you, Mick- now just break your MacBook LCD and I’ll give you $40 off the repair. Read the last few posts if you have no idea what I’m talking about.
In other news, I’m headed off to California to see some friends in LA, then the wife and I are going to head up the coast to San Francisco for a few days. I think I might convince her to stop at 1 Infinite Loop on the way and check out the Apple digs. And just cause I’m feeling nice, I’ll go ahead and give you an easy coupon contest before I go. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me the name of the song this post title refers to, as well as the artist, and I’ll give you $10 off your next MacBook or MacBook Pro LCD repair. It’s only good through the end of July, though, so hurry up. And make sure to include your invoice or web confirmation number. Good luck, peeps.
