Greetings everyone. I just thought I’d touch base with you to talk about some common iPhone 4S problems and what we can do to fix them. We have seen a lot of iPhone 4Ss around these parts and for many different reasons. You name it, we have seen it: an iPhone 4S dropped in coffee, washed in the washing machine, drooled on (by a baby of course), ran over by a car….. These devices seem prone to accidents, or prone to be owned by clumsy people. Nonetheless, extraordinary things can befall your iPhone 4S, but today we are here to discuss the most common iPhone 4S repairs.
The most common thing we see when a 4S comes in is either a cracked screen or backplate due to a drop. As beautiful as the iPhone 4S is, it is literally made of glass. Glass shatters. We offer both iPhone 4S screen repair and backplate repair services at low prices.
Just below are the two iPhone 4S Screen Repairs that we offer. Remember, this covers the entire front screen assembly of the 4S, including the Retina Display, digitizer, and glass. It also does not matter what carrier you bought your iPhone from, just choose which color iPhone you have and we’ll repair it with the necessary, authentic part:
And here are the two backplate repair services we offer for any type of iPhone 4S:
If you’re adventurous enough and feel that you can perform these repairs yourself, we offer do-it-yourself repair kits for screens and backplates:
If you don’t know what is wrong with your iPhone 4S you can always send it in for our free diagnostics.
If you choose this route, once we receive your iPhone 4S, one of our professional iPhone technicians will evaluate your iPhone and contact you with an accurate price quote. If you elect to go through with the repair, we will fix and ship your iPhone back to you. If you don’t, no worries, there are absolutely NO obligations. We’ll either send you back your iPhone or recycle it if you ask us to. There is no pressure and no pushy salesperson will hound you.
If you have any questions, we are always here to answer them. I like to say that we are the most reachable repair company out there. Want to call and chat with us over the phone? No problem, call us at 888.447.3728. Do you just want to leave us a voicemail? No problem, just call our number and press 9 to access our voicemail system. Would you rather just email us? Well, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out our contact form. But wait, there’s more!!! If you want to chat with us through your web browser we have an app for that. Just go to iResQ.com and click the chat widget on the bottom-right hand of the screen to chat with a sales associate. Want to contact us via Facebook? Here it is. Twitter? Yep. Want to leave a message on one of our Youtube videos? You got it. Last, but certainly not least, if you’re in town, pop in! We have a comfortable lobby where you can talk to one of our sales associates face to face. Whew, that’s a lot. I’m sure there are more ways to contact us that I can’t think of right now.
Well, the weekend is upon us and I have a lot that I want and need to do. As a matter of fact, tonight I am stopping by the local Vintage Stock to pick up an old SNES console to relive the 16 bit glory days of Super Metroid. A little of that and MW3 for me tonight. Just the ticket to cap off a crazy last couple weeks.
Until we meet again…

“The iPhone Drop Heard ‘Round the World” … or at least around the Internet. Maybe you’ve heard of this famous phone? Well, we at iResQ certainly know our way around this phone and it’s no coincidence that we took care of the damage.
I am getting ahead of myself here. Let me introduce the phone that I am going on and on about. Check out this iPhone 4S drop test (embedded below) that has almost 9 million views to date:
So there you have it. Probably one of the most famed and legendary iPhone 4S ever to grace the silver screen. I just made it even more popular by posting the video here!
Not surprisingly, the ladies and gentlemen who dropped and damaged this critically-acclaimed iPhone 4S came calling iResQ to fix it up. This is the part where a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll stop yapping. Check out these before and after pics:
There you have it. The iPhone 4S breaks, as simple as that. It is made of glass housing on both the front and back. Just make sure you let a proven pro (hint – us) handle your Apple iPhone 4S repair if you need it. Oh, and if you drop your Samsung Galaxy, maybe you can sell it for scrap and go buy an iPhone? Just kidding.
Have a great Turkey Day everyone!

If you’re a regular to the iResQ blog, you should know good and well by now that a good bulk of us at iResQ are Chiefs fans. Come football time, we get excited. This year in particular is especially exciting. With the lockout lifted just last Monday, the floodgates have been opened for free agent signing. One acquisition that the Chiefs made yesterday was well received. Steve Breaston, formally of the Arizona Cardinals, will sign a 5-year contract with the Chiefs tonight. Chiefs fans have been clamoring for the team to beef up their core receiving squad, and based on our first round draft pick in Jonathan Baldwin along with the recent acquisition of Breaston, it looks like the Chiefs are doing just that. Go figure, this is Todd Haley we are talking about.
Now the fact that we got Breaston, a proven receiver in the NFL, is great. The icing on the cake, at least for me, is this:
Ok ok, I hear ya. What does this all have to do with getting your Apple products fixed? What does this have to do with repairing your broken iPhone, your busted iPad 2, or the cracked screen on your MacBook Air? Well, the answer to that is….not much. I just like talking football. What I can tell you is that iResQ is doing better than ever. Not only are we performing a record amount of repairs (ESPECIALLY on iPads) we have more positive feedback than we can shake a stick at. Check out what our customers have been saying about us on the interwebs. Or, you can check out iResQ’s A+ rating with the BBB.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Also don’t forget to watch this Sunday’s installment of the best sitcom of all time, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

A famous Beatle once stated, “all things must pass”. There comes a time when great things must settle down and move on. That time has come for one of the most successful computer models in history…the MacBook (not to be confused with the MacBook Pro). Yes. Today marks the official day when the MacBook has been discontinued. Farewell my old friend.
Now, the cheapest Mac notebook on the market is the amazing MacBook Air. Obviously, Apple see’s the MacBook Air as the future of their notebook line. The MacBook Air is truly a technical achievement, and starting at $999, it is more affordable than ever. Despite its current shortcomings (limited HD space, no optical drive…), the MacBook Air is a marvel. Oh yeah, HELLO THUNDERBOLT!! If you don’t know what Thunderbolt is, read this article from Gizmodo.
Still, to me, nothing can replace the simplicity and convenience of the old MacBook…except the 13.3″ MacBook Pro 🙂
At the time of its release, the MacBook was, quite simply, a revolution not only for Apple, but for the notebook industry. Let’s face it, Mac OS X was awesome with a PPC processer, but with the Intel processor, the darn thing just soared. My old MacBook (purchased in 2007) still runs circles around some of my friend’s newer Windows based computers. The only flaw that I truly felt with my MacBook was the fact that its integrated video card was not that great. Sure, not being able to play Portal on my MacBook sucked, but that’s what I have an Xbox for.
Let’s not be sad of that fact that the MacBook will no longer be around, let us all celebrate it. Here is to looking to the future…
Farewell ye olde MacBook.

Moving on though, I hope you had time to watch Apple’s presentation at this year’s WWDC. There were a few very exciting things that Apple announced including its iOS 5 and OS X Lion, among other things. I am going to let our resident OS X expert, Eric, discuss the new features surrounding Apple’s newest version of its revolutionary OS and what it is going to mean. Regarding iOS 5, you can read all about it here. I am most exited about Notification Center, the updated Camera App, and PC Free.
Its been a hot past few days here and this weekend, I am very much looking forward to break out my meat smoker and engage in one of the best Kansas City Traditions ever, BBQ.
