Many people spend almost $100 on a case for their iPad. They believe that their device will be indestructible with it. That belief vanishes when they drop their device or their child chucks it across a room and then see that the glass inside is shattered. How could this have happened?
No case is going to keep your iPad 100% secure. While a small drop will protect the device, a drop that is far off the ground or floor or any pressure on the front of it will end up cracking it.
Your first instinct may be to take it out of the case. That’s probably not a good idea. If you do that, all of the glass will be everywhere. That could cause cuts on your hands and feet when you step on the glass that made it to the floor.
It’s best to just keep the case on your device.
What if you need to send your device in for a repair?
It’s likely you want to get the cracked screen on your iPad replaced. Hopefully, you’re choosing us to have that done. If you do, you don’t have to worry about a thing. Just send your iPad in with the case.
Our certified technicians will carefully remove the case from your iPad. They will clean it up, and dispose of the glass carefully.
After they clean the case and your iPad up, they will remove the screen you have on there now, and replace it with a brand new one. This may include replacing both the digitizer and the LCD or just the LCD depending on how back the damage is to your device.
Once everything looks new again, they will package it up for you – the iPad and the case (separately). You will receive them both in the returned box, and then you can decide if you want to put the case back on your device.
So when your iPad breaks in its case, do nothing. Simply package it up in a box, send it to us, and let us handle the messiness of the glass. Order an iPad screen repair now.

Somehow, I forgot to include this article in my last blog post. Matt Hickey, who is now a dear friend of ours, posted about us back in December when we repaired his iPad.
You can check out the blog article here: Forget DIY repair. Sometimes, you need the pros
SIDE NOTE: I really enjoy that CNet tech blog and Matt’s contributions; maybe you will like it too.
Here’s what his iPad looked like before we got ahold of it (Thanks Matt for the pics):
In other news, we’re gearing up for a big March, and the iPad 2 launch which is rumored to take place next week. We’ve all seen the rumors… 3G on every model and the front and rear facing cameras seem to be the popular theory. Also, with a little less fanfare, new MacBook Pros are rumored for next week. Stay tuned, and let’s get that Apple stock back up! It’s been dropping over the last few days.
Thanks for reading!

Well, the holiday season is gearing up and we are ready to roll. Its that time of year full of vacations and travelling. If you plan on taking a trip to visit friends and family this holiday season be sure to dust off your old iPod and fill it up with some Beatles hits. Now that the Beatles’ entire catalog is in the iTunes Music Store there should be no reason to travel the country without listening to Strawberry Fields. What’s that? Your iPod doesn’t work any more? Well you know where to get it fixed now don’t ya? Well, don’t ya?
If you completely ditched iPods after getting your iPhone and now realize that you need more space to put your music, don’t fret. MacMall offers great deals on all things Apple (except iPhones). I have been shopping on that site for a long time now and have never been disappointed. You should check them out. They even offer great prices for Apple Notebooks.
Speaking of Apple Notebooks, its hard to go to a University or College campus without seeing tons of Macs. Its funny, when I started college the ratio of students to laptops was pretty minimal. Four years later the laptop to student ratio was approaching 1:1. Of course there are always students that stand by the tried and true pen and paper, but there is no avoiding the wall of laptops professors see during their lectures…I wonder if this annoys them. And now that the semester is winding down, the holiday season is a great time to get your Mac repaired after going through the rigors of college life. I know the deal. I used to work at the bookstore at my college and had to check in damaged laptops to get fixed. I saw my fair share of, “My roommate sat on my MacBook,” or, “My roommate spilled beer on my iBook”. Sure, it was your roommate. 🙂
Either way, we’ll fix your MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or any other Apple Notebook. We offer several different repair services for each model. I’ll list a few of our most popular repairs to get you started:

Well, I’m out for the time being.
Oh yeah, the front offices of our beloved KC Wizards decided to change the name of the team to Sporting Kansas City. The folks around iResQ don’t like the name change that much. But, the new logo is nice.
