iResQ Strikes Again

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Howdy friends and happy Friday to all of you. I trust that you are all having great summers. I know we are here at the Q. We have been extremely busy repairing your iPhones, iPods, Apple Portables, and PSP’s. Not too busy though- there’s always room for another, so be sure to remember us if you happen to get too close to the water with your beloved Apple products. We here at iResQ are humble folks, but we love to hear from satisfied customers and it just so happens one of you out there has recently posted a blog praising our services. Here, take a look at this friendly review of the iResQ iPhone 3G Digitizer Repair Service.  Well, I better get back to work because everyone is starting to look at me weird. Have a great weekend.

RIP Jeff’s Mustache

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Goodnight sweet prince.

One of our beloved iResQ employees, Jeff, just shaved off what was probably one of the greatest mustaches in the history of time and space.

It only lasted a week, but some of the guys here put him up to it, dangling the prospect of several free Culver’s Concretes in exchange for a week’s worth of mustache – Jeff accepted.

Anyway this will mark the end of my monthlong fascination with the men of iResQ and their mustaches.      In honor of this, I would like to offer the QPON “JEFF’S MUSTACHE” for 6 bucks off of any repair.    As usual, this does not apply to diagnostic services – only repairs.   Simply email me your order confirmation number at with the QPON code “JEFF’S MUSTACHE” and I’ll discount your order.

Have a great couple weeks and here’s my man Jeff and his beauti-stache (and the iResQ Blog sensation, Keith):

To focus, To paint… KEITH!

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

Hey how’s it goin’.

Don’t really have a whole heck of a lot to say today – sort of a blah week for me personally.     I cleaned out my gutters on Saturday and left a ladder on the roof.      I forgot to get the ladder down and of course the Kansas City area received gale-force winds the following day, and Hurricane KC blew through and fired the ladder down off of the roof and it thrashed my driver’s side mirror.    Awesome.     I did find a replacement on the ebays and will attempt to replace it myself.

What else is going on… yes my band played last Saturday night as well – first show since I got back from Germany last year.    It went really well – sold out.     We have been in the studio cutting our next album and accrued a ton of debt, so it was nice to play a big show and get ahead of the curve a bit and pay those debts.

Well that’s really all I got this week.    We’ve been really busy here at iResQ taking care of iPhones, iPods and Portables.     I think we’ll just keep it simple, since the blog is fairly simple this time around.    Go ahead and email me the QPON ‘KEITH’ to with your order number and I’ll knock 6 bucks off your order.     As always, this does not apply to diagnostic services at all, only repairs.

Have a nice couple weeks – Mick

PS – for old time’s sake:

How’s Your Vacation Keith?

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

Well I’m sad to say I just got back from my Caribbean cruise and am back in the cold, dark midwest.    Man, I don’t know  how much longer I can take these midwest winters but that’s aside the point of this blog.

We had an awesome time – my girlfriend and I flew down to Puerto Rico and sailed south on a weeklong cruise to Barbados, St. Lucia, Tortola, Antigua and St. Thomas.  We left 35 degree weather behind for 84 and sunny, swam the clearest ocean we’ve ever seen and snorkled.    The scenery was beautiful – lush green rain forests and mountains and clean air.  At one point while snorkeling, I peeled a banana underwater and there were so many fish swimming around me pecking away at the banana I couldn’t see one foot in front of me.    Truly amazing.     The boat itself was pretty cool actually.   It was humongous.  With this being my first cruise I’d always had this idea of what a cruise is like in my head:  getting rocked out of bed, seasick, horrible excursions onto rainy land.    Not that way at all – the food was good, we met many really friendly people and even the drink prices weren’t that bad.     We did smuggle a bottle of vodka on the boat but no need to expand on that.

What a great trip though – here I sit now, it just snowed a couple days ago, I slipped on my front porch because it was so icy.   Luckily my girlfriend helped catch me and I didn’t break my body into pieces. I think I just need to live somewhere warm soon.  These KC winters are getting really old really quick.    I might just have to sell everything and move down to St. Lucia.

One last thing – on the ship one night I got a “wild hair” and karaoke’d Rick Astley’s hit song “Never Gonna Give You Up” and rick-rolled an entire cruise ship.    There were a lot of Canadians on the boat who didn’t get the reference, but such a hot performance still impressed the masses!    Check out my sweet moves:

In honor of a memorable trip, and the legend of Rick Astley, I’d like to offer the QPON “RICK ROLL” for 6 dollars off of any repair.    As usual this does not apply to any diagnostic services, only repairs.    Just create your order and email me the QPON “RICK ROLL” to and I’ll apply the discount for you.

Have a great time and go take a cruise and get away from the everyday stresses of life!  –  Mick
