How to Package Your Device for Shipment to iResQ

iPhone / iPhone

Many of our customers decide to ship their device to us. They know they will receive better customer service from us than their local iPhone, iPad, and iPod repair shop.

When sending your device, it’s important that you package it securely. Even though it is broken, there’s always a chance that it could become break even more.

What you want to do first is print out the shipping labels you will receive from us when you select your desired shipping method. Keep these safe because they are valuable.

The next step in shipping your device is to wrap it tightly. Bubble wrap works best, but we’ve had customers use a variety of household items such as towels, bunches of paper, cardboard tightly secured to the device on each side, and Styrofoam from other packages they received. All you need to do is make sure that the device is securely wrapped, so that it doesn’t suffer any damage if the package were to be dropped.

Do not trust that if you put FRAGILE on your box that it will not be dropped. Things happen in shipment that are sometimes out of postmen’s jobs. It’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to protecting your device from further damage.

Once you’ve wrapped the device, simply place it in the box you have to ship it in and tape it closed. It is still a good idea to write FRAGILE on the box because you still want them to try to be careful with it.

The final steps are to place the shipping label on the box, and drop it off at your post office.

That’s it!

We have a fast turnaround. Depending on the shipping speed you choose, we will receive your package and turn it around within 24 hours. For example, if you choose two day shipping to us and back to you, you should receive your device repaired in five days. If you chose one day shipping back and forth, you should receive it in 3 days.

Let us know if you have any questions at all!
