Happy St. Patrick’s Day from iResQ
Hello again!
Let’s face it — If you are reading this, you’re not out celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. You might be at work. You might be stuck in the airport like I was a couple of days ago, or you might just be enjoying this lovely St. Patrick’s Day at home. Whatever the case, hopefully you are reading this blog in good humor and not the victim of a recent iPod, iPhone, MacBook, or PSP casualty.
I just got back from lunch with my friend Aaron, whose wife crushed her iPhone 3G screen by dropping it. A couple of partial explanations (excuses?) later and all I know is that it somehow involved the kids… Either way, the luck of the Irish was not with them today. Not to worry though, they weren’t “green” with envy for long! Here are some before and after pics:

AFTER
Anyway, back to St. Patrick’s Day — I have two interesting topical facts:
1) Our hometown, Kansas City, has one of the longest-running parades in the USA. It’s been a yearly tradition since 1873 (according to Wikipedia). It’s probably winding its way through Westport as I type this.
2) There are estimated to be 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every one four-leaf clover. Strangely, there is also a Metallica song titled, “No Leaf Clover.”
OK that’s it for now. I hope you all have a joyous St. Patrick’s Day, and if you do go out and celebrate, be safe. If your iPhone ends up with a busted screen like Aaron’s, I hope you know which good friend to call (pssssst, it’s me – 888-447-3728).
