Expo ’08

So we’re less than a week away from the first MacWorld Expo of 2008 and there hasn’t been much in the way of new product confirmation. Everyone is still bandying about the Ultra-Portable hearsay as we have been for the last few months, but there’s little new information other than something odd about the track pad and uneasy murmurs about the lack of an optical drive. And how much storage space can there actually be with only flash memory? 32? 64? Anyone? Chances are that anything Mr. Steve throws at us will pale in comparison to the announcements of the last few conventions; Leopard, the iPhone and the new iPod line are a big enough high to ride on for a few months. Regardless, if any of you suckers are planning on attending and don’t have tickets yet, go register at macworldexpo.com.

And if any of you can send me a magically-photoshopped concept design of the new Portable like the one below, 10% off your next repair. Email your designs to eric@iresq.com. It’s time, homie
