It happens. One minute, you’re watching your eight-year-old play with their brand new cell phone innocently on the couch, the next, they’ve cracked the entire screen and don’t seem to understand how they did it. Whether they dropped it in the toilet, ran over it with their bike, or accidentally blew it up, we’ve seen it all.

It’s usually a good idea to connect your phone to a wifi network when you’re in range of one you can trust. This way, you won’t be using up all your data and you can get to where you’re going faster. However, sometimes our phones just won’t connect to the wifi network, even if we have the right password. So what’s up?
When you try to connect to your wifi network on your phone, make sure you have your wifi settings turned on. Your phone won’t be able to find the network if its settings are off.
Once you’ve checked to make sure you put in the right password, try checking your wireless router. Make sure it is turned on and that you are within the necessary range of the router itself. You may even want to turn it off and then on again. Sometimes, the problem is just that simple.
You may be having trouble because your phone’s operating system isn’t up to date. You can check this by going into your settings and seeing if an update is available. If it is, it’s just a matter of waiting until the system updates. Then you can try connecting to the wifi again.
This is another option you can use to fix the issue of connecting to your wifi network, especially if the option to click on the network is grayed out on your phone. Go into your settings and under general and reset, you’ll find an option to reset your network settings. This will also reset your saved passwords for any wifi networks, so make sure you have the password on hand when you’re ready to try reconnecting.
If you’re still having trouble connecting to wifi, it could be a bigger problem than these quick fixes can solve. Bring your phone to us, or let us come to you, and we’ll find out what the problem is.
We will give your phone a free diagnostic test where we will let you know exactly what is wrong with it and what our repairs will entail. Then we will fix your device and have it back to you within 24 hours of when you first brought it to us. Now that’s a fast solution.

In this day and age, it’s hard to find someone who’s never broken, cracked, or dropped their smartphone in a toilet. While pretty much everyone has had a problem with their phone at least once that could be solved with a simple repair, there are still myths about phone repair businesses circulating and making people second guess the idea of taking their broken phone to a professional.
While people who have had their phones stolen should consider getting a new device, those with cracked screens or another minor issue will often find that it’s much cheaper to have their phone repaired rather than paying to replace the entire thing.
Not a good idea. Most people wind up causing much worse damage by trying to fix their phones at home, and the DIY screen fixing kits sold on the Internet can sometimes be upwards of $200 apiece.
Also not a good plan. If you ask a friend to repair your phone, there’s a good possibility they won’t know what they’re doing. They could potentially fry your device or cause even more problems, which could put you in a worse predicament than before. And is it really worth losing a friend just to save a couple bucks?
This is untrue. Most carriers will work with you if you’ve had your phone repaired in the past, and you should still be able to resell it, even if it has been repaired. In addition, a working, undamaged phone is more likely to fetch a higher price than a cracked or broken phone that has never been repaired.
It usually doesn’t take long at all for a phone to be repaired or a screen to be replaced. In many cases, same-day service is an option, and most customers don’t have to wait more than an hour or two before they get their phones back.
Don’t be taken in by the myths and rumors. Call now for a free diagnostic session and an estimate of how long your phone repair will take.
