All Hallows and Happy Little Trees .
Happy November, readers. Is it just me, or does it seem like October always goes faster than the other months? Maybe it’s because there is so much going on; the new Apple software and product announcements, the NFL season in full swing (the Chiefs dodged a buffalo-sized bullet yesterday), the baseball playoffs (who saw San Francisco one game away from a championship at this point?). And, of course, Halloween. The holiday that evolves more and more with every passing year and life stage: First, as a kid, it’s all costumes and candy. Through adolescence it’s not cool to go trick or treating any more, but you still want candy so you lazily dress up as a seventh grader or a kid with a baseball hat. Clever. Then Halloween takes on a whole new persona in college, which I won’t discuss because this is a family blog. Finally as an adult Halloween becomes about one thing: impressing friends and family with the costume you put your own kids in. Our daughter spent her first Halloween in a pink nightgown and pipe cleaner antennae as Cindy Lou Who from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which clashed horribly with my own Bob Ross costume. No one noticed since they were completely and overwhelmingly enamored by the ten month old with Who antennae.
Well, the holiday season is quickly approaching, which means iPods, iPhones, iPads and Apple notebooks are soon going to be in high demand. If you’re looking to fix your gear rather than add more, give us a call or check out our services. Have a great week, and thanks for reading.
